REACHWise (www.reachwise.eu)
has extensive knowledge of REACH and the REACH Implementation Projects (RIPs).
Members of REACHWise were
involved with industry input during the crucial Second Reading of the
legislation and directly contributed to drafting of the technical guidance. With
experience from industry REACHWise understands just what REACH means to business
and the strategic decisions companies face with implementation.
Our involvement with consortia in various
international industry schemes (e.g. HPV, HERA and ERASM) can serve to help
prepare you for REACH compliance. REACHWise encompasses many years of experience
working with regulatory bodies, with engagement in both upstream manufacturers
and downstream users of chemical products. We understand the needs of working
together as well as the sensitivities involved.
We are
equipped to help you with strategic decisions as well as other preparations
including sharing information through SIEFs and consortia, to make your
registration including the Chemical Safety Report.
REACHWise is now a consultant to REACHReady the
wholly-owned subsidiary of the Chemical Industries Association.
In
addition to meeting scientific, technical and business needs, we are currently
engaged in providing IUCLID5 training. This is the only means of submitting the
registration dossier to EChA. It also enables you to work effectively in
consortia and a SIEF (Substance Information Exchange Forum, a legal requirement
to avoid duplication of testing with vertebrates).
We operate an

Dr Peter Douben, founder of REACHWise and
heading the team, was Director of REACH and Chemicals Policy at Cefic, the
European Chemical Industry Council. Peter has contributed to the European
Commission’s Interim Strategy through participation on the Commission Working
Group. With a background in scientific risk assessment and practical management,
Peter and the team look forward to helping provide REACH solutions to your
company with REACHWise.
