Good SIEF and consortium management service keeps the cost of your registration activities to a minimum.

REACHWise has provided Lead Registrants and Co-registrants with support for the whole spectrum of services, including the management of the dossier.

 

This service is intended for companies that have decided to form a SIEF. If you have not reached that stage go to the information about SIEF Formation. The purpose of the management service is organise the preparation of the registration dossier and their submission in a timely and efficient way, as well as to organise the communication with others where necessary. This service is complementary to the REACH Registration support service.

Target Group

The target group of the SIEF will be based on the official list of pre-registrants exported from REACH-IT. This will be refreshed and updated on a regular basis. Similarly the status of the pre-registrants will be kept up to date.

 

How we work

REACHWise operates the management of SIEFs through the principles of good project planning and management. We have identified the deliverables with the steps required to provide them. Significant milestones are clearly set out: from the setting up of the group, through the individual tasks (see Registration Dossier), all the way to completion of the dossier and submission. Some companies prefer to carry out some of the individual tasks in-house, and our modular approach to SIEF and consortium management allows for this. Whatever format is chosen, clear decision making is essential.

 

Activities

The SIEF Management service includes communication with all members of the SIEF in a focused and targeted way. Letters of Access will be generated upon completion of the necessary legal and financial requirements. This approach helps the lead registrant to be informed and prepare the joint submission in a fair, transparent and non-discriminatory way. It also helps the members to keep overhead activities to a minimum. All the activities of a SIEF should be done with anti-competition in mind since that law set limits on what and how information can be shared.

 

When the dossier is ready, we will assist the Lead Registrant and co-registrants whether they are part of a consortium or not, with access to the dossier.

 

Meetings are useful to ensure trust exists between the members, but they can also demand a lot of resources. Therefore we plan face to face events in a strategic way complemented by other means of interaction such as conference calls and webinars. Obviously not every member will need to participate in these, and we manage this in an efficient way.
