The SIEF may not show any level of activity and you are concerned about the delay. SIEF Formation

This support service covers all the necessary activities such as substance identification and sameness for the individual substance (the foundation of a SIEF) as well as for a group of related substances (relevant to a consortium), structure for the organisation and rules for data sharing and compensation. Communication needs are also covered. For this we bring potential participants together.

Getting ready for 2013

Our experience with the registration activities for the 2010 deadline has shown that the hurdles to overcome will not be the same. ECHA is expecting some 10,000 dossiers to be submitted initially for around 3,500 substances. More substances will need to be registered and it is less likely that the same level of required data will be available to meet the requirements of REACH. More companies are involved and less experience with the type of processes.

Therefore, we are now gearing up for the next round: the completion date of 1st June 2013 seems a long way ahead of us, but there is a lot of work to be done.

This is your chance to get in touch with us so we can support you to ensure your company is in good shape and prepared for this challenge. We can help with the setting up of the SIEFs, running them, and provide the technical input to the registration dossier. With all of these aspects we adopt a modular approach so that your resources dovetail with the support required and offered.
